About a month ago, I started looking for Portuguese Water Dog puppies and found a beautiful litter from a breeder, Mr. Henderson. I spoke with them on the phone, and they were excellent at answering all my questions. I set up an appointment to visit as soon as possible. I was almost certain Toby was the puppy for us, but they allowed us to meet all the puppies in the litter, including the Mother and Grandmother! He came home practically potty trained and is the most social and well-behaved puppy. All of the puppies looked wonderful; they were raised with children, and their property is beautiful! Toby had been vet-checked before we got him and passed our vet check with flying colors! I would not hesitate to get another puppy from them in the future; I am very happy with the experience.

Last year, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Portuguese Water Dog, which was devastating for our family. After some time, we considered a rescue, but purebred Portuguese Water Dogs were rare in our area. Despite being raised on a farm, she transitioned to our house seamlessly within days and socialized wonderfully with everyone. She loves people and other dogs. We have had her since December, and she is now over nine months old – a wonderful, sweet dog who loves to play fetch and enjoys basic agility activities. Our vet checkups have been excellent, and the spay procedure went well. She has adapted perfectly to our home and family. I highly recommend Devon Smith if you see any future puppies available.
